Shenandoah’s Bachelor Of Fine Arts In Musical Theatre Curriculum Is Designed For The Talented Performer Who Wishes To Prepare For A Professional Career In Musical Theatre.

While Shenandoah Conservatory is known as the “pop/rock" school (because it is the only program with faculty dedicated to the genre), the school actually focuses on all genres and periods of musical theatre in the program, which is the second-oldest in the country. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed around current industry practice, with an emphasis on contemporary storytelling methods. Also known as the “business of the business” school, Shenandoah offers a full course on branding and marketing that prepares students to think of themselves as small business owners, nurturing survival and life skills that go beyond the arts.
