(she/her)
Jacqueline Joy Burroughs was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is a skilled dramatic and comedic performer with an academic background in music theory, composition, and piano. She found her passion for theatre in high school at The Governor’s School for the Arts, where she was fortunate enough to study musical theatre. Her favorite theatre credits include TUCK EVERLASTING (Mother), ORDINARY DAYS (Deb), and A GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER (Phoebe). When she is not performing, Jacqueline enjoys writing songs, playing the piano, and spending time with her younger siblings and adorable ShiZhu, Chewie. She is very grateful for her time at Shenandoah Conservatory, and the long-lasting friendships she's made along the way. She is excited to continue to pursue her dreams and see what the future holds!
