


Ellen Frary

Ellen Frary (She/Her) was born and raised in Roanoke, VA. She fell in love with performing at the age of three when she started dancing. Later in high-school her passion expanded to the whole world of musical theater. Ever since that moment she knew that she wanted to spend the rest of her life performing. Ellen is a goofy and passionate performer with a love for comedic and emotional material. Regional credits include the 2023 Theater Aspen Apprenticeship Program appearing as Maureen in Rent and Betty/Marilyn/understudying Carole King and Cynhia Weil in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at The Cape Playhouse and Theater Aspen. She played Liesl Von Trapp in Mill Mountain Theatre's The Sound of Music. Some of her favorite Shenandoah credits include Spamalot (Lady of The Lake) Rent (ensemble u/s Maureen), Waitress (ensemble u/s Dawn), Sweet Charity (ensemble). Ellen wants to thank her amazing friends and family as well as her incredible professors for all of the love and support as she pursues her dreams.
