Gannon Thomas is a vibrant actor coming to you from Jacksonville Florida. As a kid, his family moved a lot due to his father being in the military, so to keep him distracted his mother did her best to expose him to all kinds of entertainment. He soon became obsessed with villains of all kinds, and he always seemed to have a soft spot for the underdog. He first got into theatre when his family took him to The Hoo Dee Doo Review in Disney World where the actors in the show picked him from the audience to come up on stage and sing. And when his family noticed he had a decent singing voice they thought "hmmm maybe we should make him do theatre," and that they did! He graduated from Douglas Anderson School Of The Performing Arts, and in 2019 he was one of 15 YoungArts finalist for Theatre. Gannon’s favorite roles he’s done at Shenandoah Conservatory include, but are not limited to, The Baker in INTO THE WOODS, King Creon in ANTIGONE, and King Arthur in SPAMALOT. Gannon loves to do plays just as much as he loves to do musicals, and he hopes that in his career he can keep an even balance of both. Gannon is an extreme theatre historian he loves to indulge himself in the names of theatre gone by. This doesn’t just mean live theatre, as he is well versed in the history of Film and TV as well. You could ask him who won a certain theatre award for a certain category for a certain year and he would be able to tell you, which this brings him so much joy! Gannon looks forward to moving to New York this year, and cannot wait to start this business we call show.
