Molly sorensen
(she/her)

Molly is an ambitious performer with a unique knack for storytelling through song. Since she started working in Philadelphia at age 14, her performances have been described as deep, authentic, and fully realized. Her favorite roles at Shenandoah have been Alice Murphy in BRIGHT STAR and The Courier in 1776. Molly’s innate maturity and youthful appearance make her a versatile actor, capable of playing a wide range of ages/voice types. Molly’s regional credits include Johanna in SWEENEY TODD and Natalie in NEXT TO NORMAL, for which she received critical acclaim from The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Broad Street Review and more. Recently, she has discovered a passion for new works. This fall, Molly had the chance to work with Broadway producers and directors as leads in two new musicals, A KILLER PARTY and FETCHING WATER. Outside of Theatre, Molly loves cooking, studying The Real Housewives, and long walks with her dachshund, Chip. She frequently travels to Ireland, where her family is from, and hopes to also explore Film, TV, and Theatre work overseas. She is so grateful for every opportunity and for her family’s unending support. Molly cannot wait to graduate with the greatest class ever and move to NYC!
