Nathan Diaz
he/him

Nathan (he/him) is so excited to be living out his dreams and takes absolutely none of this for granted! Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, he grew up in a town with deep roots in the arts and entertainment. Music runs in the family; his father, a violinist, put him in lessons at a young age. Nathan began his foray into theatre by way of the school spring musical and found that he'd take a jazz square over a violin bow any day! One fateful evening in November of 2013, he received a DVD copy of Shrek the Musical and was transfixed by the art form... and Sutton Foster. At that moment, a career in the theatre was his ultimate goal. He attended the renowned theatre magnet at Dr. Phillips High School and has been blessed to have found a home in Shenandoah Conservatory. Favorite credits include Paul in A CHORUS LINE, Jairo in WORKING, and Otto in SPRING AWAKENING. He served as co-president of The Loaf, the university’s award-winning improv comedy troupe. When not performing, Nathan really enjoys binging an HBO dramedy, searching for the perfect candle at HomeGoods, going to theme parks, reading, and playing with his puppy, Nico. He is passionate about the transformative power of theatre and hopes to be part of moving important conversations forward through the medium.
