Riley Johnston is chasing his dreams to make people laugh, even during the hardest times. Riley takes pride in being an explosive, charming, and grounded performer. He grew up learning how to sing classical music, but began to explore rock and country music throughout High School. Since studying at Shenandoah, Riley has played numerous roles including Herman in SWEET CHARITY and Daddy Cane in BRIGHT STAR. He has also been involved with Hornets’ Nest Student Theatre, playing George in GODSPELL and being apart of the ensemble in REEFER MADNESS and CAROUSEL. His favorite part of school is being apart of the nationally recognized improv comedy team, The Loaf. Outside of theatre, Riley enjoys being a roller coaster enthusiast. If he’s not in a show, you can find him traveling across the country to ride the biggest and craziest rollercoasters imaginable. One of his biggest flexes is that if you name any theme park in the country, he is able to name at least 2 rides you’d find there. Riley is excited to move to New York City after graduation, but will miss his nightly cuddles with his family’s pug, Layla.
