Shenandoah MT'23

Riley thad young
(he/him)
Riley was born and raised in Batesville, MS, although he just tells everyone he’s from Memphis, TN because everyone knows where that is and it’s close enough. He has been performing for more than half of his life and can be characterized as a performer with endless amounts of youthfulness and energy. Some have said he is the ‘King of Riffing’ but those sources ask to remain anonymous. Some of his favorite SU credits include Jesse Tuck (TUCK EVERLASTING), Nigel Bottom (SOMETHING ROTTEN), and Billy Cane (BRIGHT STAR), as well as being a part of two new work readings produced by Kevin Duda Productions, A KILLER PARTY and FETCHING WATER. Outside of his work at Shenandoah, some of Riley’s favorite regional credits include Peter Pan in PETER PAN (Pickleville Playhouse), Michael in THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, and Jean-Michel in CINDERELLA (Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre). Outside of his theatrical endeavors, Riley is an avid lover of sports, specifically professional basketball, and football, of which he has extensive knowledge and is ready for a debate at any time. He is also a sweet tea fanatic and a devoted cat dad to his little guy, Tux. He’s thankful for the blessing that has been his time at Shenandoah and he cannot wait to pursue his lifelong dream of performing professionally.
