Shenandoah MT'23
taylor sheppard
(she/her)
Taylor is a fiery, passionate, and driven person who gives her 100% in everything she does. Born in Baltimore, but raised right outside of Atlanta, GA, she has always had a passion for the arts. Her parents put her in dance classes at the age of 3 and she has never looked back. Her favorite SU credits include Heather Duke (HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL), Sally (REEFER MADNESS), and getting to do a workshop of the updated version of WONDERLAND, where she was one of five Alices. Also, during her time at Shenandoah, she was an original member and currently serves as Vice President of the Shenandoah Conservatory’s Musical Theatre Diversity Recruitment Team. The team’s goal is to promote diversity in the program and help surrounding schools with a majority BIPOC student population prepare for college auditions. Diversity and inclusion is a very important and passionate topic of hers, and hopes to continue pursuing that outside of college. In the spring, she is so excited to be assistant directing Shenandoah Conservatory’s production of TUCK EVERLASTING, under the direction of Broadway actor and original Angus Tuck, Michael Park. She is so thankful for her time at Shenandoah and cannot wait to see where this crazy journey will take her and her classmates. When Taylor isn’t performing, you can find her reading, listening to a podcast about Hollywood history (specifically You Must Remember This), or rewatching New Girl or Julie and the Phantoms. She would like to thank her parents for constantly encouraging her to pursue her dreams.
