Thomas Lightsey
He/Him

Thomas Lightsey is a multi-talented performer originally from Orlando, Florida. He first dreamt of a career in the arts by dressing up as a member of the Blue Man Group for Halloween in kindergarten. While that dream is still on the table, he has since pivoted to musical theater. Some of his favorite roles at Shenandoah have been Emmet Forrest in LEGALLY BLONDE, Miles Tuck in TUCK EVERLASTING, and Charlemagne in PIPPIN. Thomas is a multi-instrumentalist, playing the drums, piano, and guitar, with a couple of fun extras such as the mandolin or melodica. Additionally, he is the president of SU’s improv comedy troupe “The Loaf”, which features the troupe doing musical improv with Thomas on the keys. Outside of theater he has dabbled and continues to dabble in the arts of stand-up comedy, magic, and beatboxing. To sum it all up, Thomas loves to entertain and perform, and has a strong belief in having fun with everything he does. He is interested in pursuing acting in any medium/genre, whether it be musicals/plays, comedies/dramas, or TV/film. He has absolutely loved his time at Shenandoah and wouldn’t trade the memories or friends he has made there for the world. He cannot wait to graduate and move to New York City to pursue that little blue man’s dreams.
